Introduction Taster

Integro Counselling offer all new clients a 25-minute introductory consultation. This time offers a no-fee, no-obligation opportunity for you to meet either Alison or Helen, where we aim to explain how we work and establish what hopes and aims you may have for counselling.

Following your introduction session, if appropriate, we will mutually agree an appointment with a commitment on both sides to meet regularly.


Integro Counselling’s fees are £50.00 per session (50 mins). Timely payment is anticipated on the day of each session and expected at the latest within 24 hours after each appointment. In extenuating financial circumstances, it may be possible to offer a reduction of fees.

Charity Contribution

In our first year of practice Alison and Helen were jointly committed to our chosen charity Moorfields Eye Charity. £1.00 from every non-subsidised fee payment was collected and enabled us to donate over £1,000 to supporting this valuable cause.


If you cannot attend your counselling session please let us know as soon as possible, as it may be possible to accommodate you at another time.

We have a straightforward cancellation agreement; no charge is made for sessions where 48 hours’ or more notice of cancellation is received. Where less than 48 hours’ notice of cancellation is given, or you do not attend your session, full payment will be invoiced and payable.

We will give as much notice as possible should the need arise to cancel a session for planned holiday or any other reason.

Late payments or repeat cancellations may generate the need for a conversation around the reasons why and what might be preventing you from attending sessions.

Modality of Counselling

We offer a choice of face to face counselling session along with online and telephone counselling, depending on your preference and location.

Lost Connection

If our online or telephone connection is broken within a therapy session, we will aim to re-establish contact within 10 minutes and once again after 20 minutes.

There is no charge for sessions for interruption of telephone or internet service where connection cannot be re-established. An  online counselling agreement tab is available for further information relating to this matter.


We will hold all data about you securely, our privacy policy tab gives more information regarding data protection.

Your counselling sessions with Integro Counselling are confidential. This means that we will not disclose the content of sessions without your permission in line with the Ethical Framework guidelines and online counselling guidelines created by British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP 2018) available at: www.bacp.co.uk

However, there are exceptions to confidentiality. These exceptions surround professional supervision, safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, lawful obligations or if we believe you or someone you refer to are at serious risk of significant harm further information is held in our Safeguarding Policy and full details regarding confidentiality will be available in your contract.

Contacting you

As part of your intake questionnaire we will establish how you would like us to contact you and an emergency next-of-kin contact number should a necessary need arise.
